Many of my students ask me what is important in order to achieve a 7.0 or higher in IELTS Writing Task 2.
I believe that 5 main things are required:
1. Good planning/thinking of ideas before writing
2. Good grammar (tenses, articles)
3. Good organisation/structure (paragraphs, topic sentences)
4. Use of topic vocabulary
5. Keeping relevant to the question

In fact, globally 80% of IELTS scores are available within two days and some are even ready within only one day! This is obviously great news and so if you need your results quickly then do the test on computer not on paper.
